About
How It Began
The Accelerated Confidential Disclosure Agreement (ACDA) was drafted to help facilitate a more streamlined contracting process when initiating studies with industry. The ACDA was developed using the agreed upon terms of the Accelerated Clinical Trial Agreement (ACTA). This agreement is not an exclusive approach, but one that is felt to include terms that would be considered to be a reasonable compromise for both parties and advantageous for companies and institutions alike.
Benefits
With the use of the Accelerated Confidential Disclosure Agreement template, protocols can be obtained by participating sites without confidentiality agreement negotiation delays, placing those sites at an advantage to initiating trials earlier than current processes permit.
By agreeing to use this standard template, sponsors may have greater than 60 major institutions available to sign onto this agreement without further legal negotiations/time-delays required. This agreement can be used voluntarily by Institutions and Industry.
